Operations Manager

About the role

The Lowry Academy is looking for an Operations Manager to ensure the smooth and safe operation of the academy. The role involves leading and coordinating the school's administrative functions, managing the PFI contract, supporting compliance with Health & Safety requirements, overseeing First Aid provision and records, and providing effective administrative support to the wider school community.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the school's administrative functions.
• Oversee the management of the PFI contract.
• Support compliance with Health & Safety requirements.
• Manage First Aid provision and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure effective administrative support to staff, contractors, pupils and external stakeholders.
• Maintain compliance with statutory requirements and build strong relationships with all parties.

Qualifications

• Highly organized and proactive with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience in managing administrative operations within an educational or similar environment.
• Strong understanding of statutory and health & safety compliance.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
