Our Building Services team are looking for an Operations Manager to join the team on-site at one of our Critical Sites in Central London

The purpose of the role will be to manage the Fabric team of technicians to complete Planned, Reactive and Small-Scale Extra Works, required to meet the contract obligations and Service Level Agreement. Manage the fabric outsourced packages and conduct BAU project & lifecycle works. To coordinate these works with the Technical, H&S and Administration teams to ensure all works are correctly planned and delivered to meet statutory and mandatory requirements.

You'll:

  • To manage 3 operational workstreams; Planned, Reactive and Project Works.
  • Manage the teams of technicians to meet the contractual and business work schedules.
  • Ensure that employees under your remit are competent and trained to work to the required quality and output of work required by the contract.
  • Work alongside the Technical team to understand the recommendations and solutions that are required for specific works and ensure that the operations team's works are competed accurately.
  • Responsible for the financial performance (P&L) and to set and achieve budgeted results of the three workstreams.
  • Support the Project team with client and customer to ensure a culture of collaborative working exists.
  • Act as a point of escalation shared with the site management team on all out of hours activities.
  • Demonstrable experience in Hard Facilities Management.
  • Experience managing fabric teams and multi skilled package management (e.g. Electrical, Mechanical).
  • Excellent Stakeholder Management skills.

    NEBOSH qualification is preferred and IOSH is a minimum requirement.
  • Project management experience, including familiarity with CDM and risk management.
