Job Title: Operations Finance Manager

McDonald's is seeking a qualified finance professional to play a pivotal role in commercial decision-making for our UK & Ireland business. As a key influencer in our finance team, you'll help shape strategies that benefit both McDonald's and our 200 franchisees.

Your remit will be broad and engaging, spanning franchising activity, financial appraisals across our 1,500 restaurant portfolio, and strategic support to our Operations leadership team. You'll collaborate with senior management across Finance and non-Finance functions, as well as work closely with major UK and Irish banks on high-level investments.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Strategic Franchise Partner - Assess the financial strength of 200 franchisees, ensuring long-term success.
  • Commercial Decision Maker - Drive growth and mitigate risk, shaping key financial strategies with senior leaders.
  • Franchising Expert - Execute solutions that put restaurants in the right hands for peak performance.
  • Influential Stakeholder - Lead franchisee sentiment, fostering engagement with operators and leadership teams.
  • Banking Liaison - Strengthen partnerships with major financial institutions to manage investment risks.
  • Team Developer - Build and mentor a high-performing finance team with a clear growth strategy.
Qualifications:

What You'll Need:

  • CIMA, ACA or ACCA qualified with post-qualification commercial finance experience
  • Experience leading a team
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and influencing abilities
  • An ability to work cross-functionally and network, building strong relationships and influence partners
  • A track record of being able to translate problems into clear, achievable solutions for your team
  • A self-starter mindset with ambition to progress
