The Risk, Finance & Operations team
The Risk & Operations team is responsible for managing, developing and further strengthening the Finance, Risk, Operations and IT functions. Together with the Risk Manager you are responsible for managing the risk function within ILX. Your main focus will be operational risk. You will work closely with all the teams and in particular with our colleagues from compliance, investment management and finance.

Your role at ILX
We are looking to recruit an Operational Risk Analyst who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment where initiative is encouraged, and interpersonal and technical skills are highly valued
You will play a key role in shaping the future of the ILX Risk function. You are responsible for monitoring and reporting operational and financial risks across ILX and the funds we manage. This role requireshands-on experience in risk management within an AIFM-regulated environment, contributing directly to the implementation and ongoing development of our Risk Management Framework.
This is an ideal next step if you're looking to take on responsibility and engage in a broad variety of tasks within the risk management function. This is a new role with a clear scope but ample room to further sharpen the role to your ambitions in close collaboration with the Risk Manager and contribute to ILX's ambitious growth journey.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate alterations and improvements to the Risk Management Framework, including policies, procedures, and control documentation;
- Execution of risk monitoring activities across credit, market, liquidity, operational, IT, and HR domains;
- Support the maintenance of registers, documentation of risk incidents and conducting sample testing;
- Prepare quarterly and yearly risk reports and management memos;
- Review internal controls, identify and implement improvements;
- Assist in resolving audit requests related to external audit and ISAE 3402 report.

Your qualifications & experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as finance, economics, data science, or business administration.
- About 2 years of relevant experience in a risk, compliance, or operations-related role in the financial services industry
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as AIFMD, DORA and SFDR is very much appreciated

Our Finance and Risk team is office-based, and we are looking for a colleague who values collaboration in person. This role requires presence in our Olympic Stadium office, living in or near Amsterdam is a definite plus. We welcome candidates of all backgrounds and orientations to apply for this position. You are eligible to work in the Netherlands. The ideal start date for this role is September 1st.
