Join a thriving Garden Centre as a member of our hard-working Online Department! We are looking for a new Online Assistant to work in our Online Warehouse aiding in the picking and packing of our customers online orders, keeping up with KPI's while working in a team to ensure everything is packed efficiently and in good time. Along with aiding in the day-to-day general administrative tasks within the department.

Department: Online Warehouse

Contract: Full time

Includes: Monday to Friday with a rota'd day off each week and alternate weekends

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Process customer orders efficiently and accurately, keeping up with KPI's.
  • Pick, pack, and ship products, ensuring all items are correct and undamaged.
  • Maintain accurate stock records.
  • Book in deliveries to the warehouse and check goods against orders.
  • Load and unload deliveries, ensuring all stock is handled correctly and safely.
  • Safely operate forklifts and other powered warehouse equipment where licensed or trained.
  • Handle and lift heavy items at various stages of the picking/packing process.
  • Perform general administrative tasks.
  • Support other departments as required.
  • Adhere to strict health and safety policies and regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.
Key Skills and Competencies
  • Dependable and punctual, and responsible.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • You are willing to develop and learn.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Previous experience within the warehouse industry.
