As an Oncology Nurse in the Bamford at our Derby Hospital, you'll be attentive, focused, detail-oriented and empathetic.You're registered with the appropriate governing body, and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC. With post-registration experience, you're a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care.

As an Oncology Nurse, you will:

• Be a valued addition to the team in our consultant and nurse-led service

• Work with patients receiving chemotherapy or new treatments, such as immunotherapy

• Fully assess each patient's needs, providing tailored treatment plans and care

• Assist consultants during clinics

• Assessing and monitoring patient conditions

• Experience/competence in administering SACT, undertaking venepuncture, cannulation and managing of a variety Central Vascular Access Devices is desirable but not essential as training can be given.

• Working as an effective team member and promoting team and interdisciplinary relationships

The Nuffield Health DerbyHospital is a modern, purpose-built hospital with 38 en-suite beds, three operating theatres, and together with a comprehensive range of outpatient services.

The Radiology department is a small but busy department covering general radiographic procedures, theatre, ultrasound, MRI and CT. Set in beautiful grounds, we're about 3 miles from the city centre, within easy reach of all major roads and bus routes.
