On-Site Electrician

A great opportunity for a qualified electrician looking for stable, long term work on one site. HMP Kirkham is a Category D open prison, offering a calmer, more predictable working environment and well planned maintenance work.

The role

• Planned and preventative electrical maintenance
• Fault finding and repairs
• Minor works, inspections and testing to BS7671
• Ensuring electrical systems are safe and compliant

What you need

• 18th Edition (17th considered with upskilling)
• Good knowledge of electrical maintenance and H&S
• Ability to work independently

Hours

• 39 hours per week - Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 17:00; Friday to Sunday 08:00 - 16:00

Prison security clearance and Standard DBS required -fully supported by Amey.
