OH Medical is recruiting for a leading Occupational Health provider looking to appoint an experienced Occupational Health Ergonomist to join their growing MSK team. This is your chance to step into a role where ergonomics isn't just reactive it's embedded into the design, engineering, and future of work itself. You'll be working closely with multidisciplinary teams to improve how people interact with their environments across a major, fast paced manufacturing setting.

The Role

As an Occupational Health Ergonomist, you'll play a key role in delivering a high-quality ergonomics service across multiple sites, ensuring both compliance and innovation in workplace design.

Responsibilities
  • Conducting ergonomic assessments in both physical environments and via specialist software.
  • Producing clear, evidence-based reports within agreed timeframes.
  • Supporting internal stakeholders including engineering, manufacturing and production teams.
  • Ensuring compliance with ergonomics procedures, company standards, and legislation.
  • Carrying out audits and follow-up assessments to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborating with a wider multidisciplinary health and wellbeing team.
What We're Looking For

We're keen to hear from Ergonomists who bring both technical expertise and a proactive mindset:

  • A degree (or equivalent) in ergonomics is essential.
  • Strong IT skills with the ability to analyse and present data effectively.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage projects independently and prioritise workload.
  • A collaborative approach with a passion for improving workplace health.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.

Desirable:

  • Experience within manufacturing or engineering environments.
  • Project management experience.
  • Working towards or holding professional membership (e.g. CIEHF).
