Role - Offshore Project Engineer

Location - Netherlands

Mint Selection are partnering with a leading infrastructure specialist who are seeking an Offshore Project Engineer to join them on 12-month renewable contract starting immediately.

This opportunity is ideal for a proactive engineer with a background in offshore fabrication and multidisciplinary construction projects. You'll play a vital role in ensuring engineering quality, coordinating site activities, and supporting the project through to successful delivery.

Scope of Work:

• Support the on-site construction team with engineering oversight and reporting
• Coordinate and participate in inspections across multiple disciplines (mechanical, structural, etc.)
• Review and manage contractor documentation and technical submissions
• Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards throughout fabrication and assembly
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports in coordination with the site management team
• Collaborate with technical specialists, inspectors, and design teams to resolve issues and maintain standards
• Contribute to process improvements, design reviews, and site optimisation initiatives

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in an engineering or site management role
• Exposure to offshore construction projects; topside fabrication experience is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of construction quality procedures and documentation
• Degree in engineering or a relevant technical discipline
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong reporting and organisational skills
• A collaborative, solution-oriented mindset with a focus on safety and quality
• Fluent in English and Dutch language skills are a bonus
