An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Office Manager to join a growing, specialist organisation based in East Sussex.
This is a varied and hands on leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership of office operations, leading a small team, and driving continuous improvements. You'll play a key part in ensuring the smooth day to day running of the business while supporting senior management and helping to deliver an outstanding service.
The RoleAs Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a busy office, managing a team, and ensuring efficient administrative processes across the business. You will work closely with senior leadership, providing operational support and helping to maintain a positive, productive working environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the day to day running of the office and administrative functions.
- Leading, motivating and developing a small administrative team.
- Managing workloads, scheduling and operational priorities.
- Acting as the first point of contact for operational and HR related queries.
- Supporting recruitment, induction and onboarding of new employees.
- Coordinating office facilities, suppliers and contractors.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, health & safety and data protection requirements.
- Assisting with finance administration, including invoice processing and expense tracking.
- Producing reports and maintaining operational data to support business performance.
- Organising meetings, events and internal projects.
- Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes and efficiencies.
We're looking for an experienced Office Manager or Operations professional who can demonstrate strong leadership skills and a proactive approach.
You will have:
- Previous experience in an Office Manager or similar management position.
- Proven experience leading, motivating and developing a team.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with colleagues at all levels.
- A hands on, solutions focused approach to problem solving.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- High levels of professionalism, discretion and attention to detail.
Previous experience within healthcare environment would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
