  • Salary: £28,142 - £29,540 pro rata
  • Hours: 35 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
  • Contract: Permanent. Required from September 2026
  • Reference: 8731

Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 8am - 4.30pm (30-minute unpaid lunch break).
Tuesday and Thursday: 7am - 12.30pm (no lunch break).

Morland is a vibrant primary school located in the heart of our community. We are a 1.5 form entry primary school with a new SEND provision for pupils with C and I needs. Morland is proud to be part of the Gainsborough Community in Ipswich working to enrich the lives of our pupils.

What you will do
  • Lead the school's front office, enabling teaching staff colleagues to enhance their effectiveness and help them to achieve and constantly improve standards of learning and achievement
  • Help promote the highest standards of business ethos within the administrative function of the school and work with the Business Manager / Central MAT team to ensure the most effective use of resources in support of learning objectives
  • Be highly organised with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Maintain the highest levels of professionalism, confidentiality and discretion
  • Be experienced in the use of IT packages
  • Be positive and resilient
  • Have experience of working in a busy office (highly desirable)
