Job Description
The Role - Office Manager

We are seeking an organised, proactive, and highly professional individual to lead the day to day operations of our busy school office. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment and is passionate about delivering excellent administrative support within an educational setting.

As School Office Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the school's administrative functions including attendance while providing line management and support to the wider office team. You will be at the heart of the school, acting as a welcoming first point of contact for staff, pupils, parents, and visitors.

The successful candidate will be appointed on Grade 6 7 (depending on experience), working 37 hours per week on a permanent contract for 40 weeks per year. The actual salary range for this role is £25,545 - £31,317 per annum, depending on experience.

Qualifications and Experience
  • An enthusiastic and approachable team player with excellent people skills.
  • A positive and friendly 'face of the school'.
  • A highly effective communicator, with the ability to develop effective relationships.
  • A bright, proactive, well organised and committed individual with effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Experienced in dealing with all aspects of school administration, health and safety and estate management. Someone with solid IT skills, including experience of all Microsoft Office products.
