Office Administrator /Coordinator role - Nenagh

Our client, based in Nenagh Co. Tipperary, a leading supplier of water treatment components who operate within the domestic, industrial, and commercial sectors, are seeking to recruit a dynamic and ambitious Office Administrator/ Coordinator to join their team.

The Role

As Office Administrator/ /Coordinator your duties shall include the following:

Sales & Customer Account Support
  • Process and manage sales orders from initial enquiry through to completion, using the current account system and new Dynamics 365 system.
  • Support the Sales Team with day-to-day sales administration, ensuring orders, customer information and follow-ups are accurately recorded and progressed.
  • Identify and follow up on sales leads, making appointments for the Sales Team and helping to maximise new business opportunities.
  • Handle customer enquiries and requests via telephone, email and in person, providing a professional and responsive customer experience.
  • Build and maintain positive customer relationships, acting as a key point of contact and ensuring customers receive timely updates and support.
  • Assist with managing and maintaining customer accounts, ensuring customer records, orders and relevant information are kept accurate and up to date.
  • Liaise closely with customers and internal teams to resolve queries, address issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities to support additional sales and strengthen existing customer relationships through proactive communication and excellent service.
  • Update and maintain the web-shop and website, ensuring product and customer-facing information is accurate and current.
Sales & Office Support
  • Arrange and manage courier bookings and order deliveries, ensuring goods reach customers efficiently and on time.
  • Handle incoming telephone calls, transferring enquiries to the appropriate member of the Sales or wider team.
  • Meet and greet customers visiting the office, providing a friendly and professional first point of contact.
  • Provide cover and support across different roles within the business when required.
  • Participate in regular team meetings, contributing ideas around sales processes, customer service, and operational improvements.
  • Complete other ad-hoc administrative and sales support duties as required.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Fluent spoken and written English (essential - customer and sales-facing role)
  • Previous experience in sales support, customer service, account management, or sales administration (desirable)
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills, with a professional and confident approach when dealing with customers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with customers and internal teams
  • Strong sales and commercial awareness, with the ability to recognise opportunities and support the Sales Team in converting enquiries into business
  • Strong IT skills, including good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 or other CRM/account management systems is an advantage
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple customer enquiries, orders and priorities
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to resolving customer issues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy, customer-focused environment
  • Proactive, positive, and customer-focused attitude, with a genuine interest in delivering excellent service and supporting business growth
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
The Offer

This is a permanent position based in Nenagh, Co. Tipperary, with a salary expected to be in the €40K-€50K range, depending on the candidate's skills and experience.

The role will initially be based onsite at our client's office in Nenagh, with the option to move to a hybrid working model following successful training and onboarding.

Candidates holding restricted visas or requiring sponsorship will not be considered and you must be available to interview in person.
