Occupational Therapy Team Manager, Rochdale CouncilPay rate to £36.10 per hour Contract role Vitalis are recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to work in a FAST Team in Lincolnshire Council. Rochdale Council is seeking an experienced and dynamic Interim Team Manager for Occupational Therapy to lead our Children with Disabilities OT service.This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality occupational therapy support for children and young people with additional needs. You will provide operational and professional leadership to a dedicated OT team, ensuring effective assessment, intervention, and outcomes that promote independence, safety, and inclusion.Key responsibilities include:Leading and managing the CWD Occupational Therapy team, including supervision, performance, and service developmentOverseeing delivery of occupational therapy assessments, interventions, and casework for children and young peopleEnsuring effective multi-agency working with health partners and wider SEND servicesManaging risk assessment processes, including moving and handling, equipment provision, and safety adaptationsSupporting statutory processes and contributing to wider SEND prioritiesYou will be an experienced OT leader with strong knowledge of children's services, able to work at pace while maintaining a focus on quality, partnership, and outcomes.This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a committed and collaborative SEND system.Don't forget, if this role isn't the perfect fit, we're confident we can find one that is.
