Job description Occupational Therapy Assistant - Adult Social Care (Reablement Service) A local authority in East London is seeking Occupational Therapy Assistants to join a new re-enablement service launching in June. This role is ideal for candidates looking to support individuals in regaining independence and improving daily living skills within their own homes.Main Duties:

• Support Occupational Therapists with assessments and reablement interventions
• Assist in implementing care plans focused on independence and daily living skills
• Support with equipment provision and minor adaptations
• Carry out basic moving and handling support under guidance
• Work directly with service users in the community
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to case notes
• Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
• Promote independence, wellbeing and strengths-based practice

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in Adult Social Care or a similar setting
• Experience supporting individuals with daily living activities
• Understanding of reablement and person-centred care
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can assist)
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Driving licence and access to a vehicle desirable
