Role responsibilities
  • Multi-disciplinary collaboration: Work with a dynamic team, tackling approximately four cases per week that vary in complexity.

  • Assessments and recommendations: Conduct assessments and make informed recommendations for major adaptations and complex equipment needs.

  • Technical expertise: Prepare detailed sketches and read plans, offering specifications for significant works related to manual handling.

  • Manual handling procedures: Ensure that all manual handling actions are safe, efficient, and in line with best practices.

  • Person-centred support: Conduct comprehensive assessments for individuals with various health conditions and create tailored support plans for both patients and their carers.

Person specification

Essential:

  • HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.

  • Full UK driving license (confident car driver).
