Position: Occupational Health & Safety Advisor

Location: Den Helder

Duration: 12 month contract

Client: Global Energy Company

Provide competent Occupational Health and Safety advice, ownership and leadership to the organisation regarding the requirements of the Integrated Management System and relevant statutory provisions.

Work effectively within the HSEQ team and with other departments to bring about compliance and continual improvement in occupational safety and occupational health.

• Ensure the provision of specialist Health and Safety advice to management and workforce particularly in the areas of occupational hygiene and occupational safety and ensure compliance with relevant legislation
• Support that all accidents, incidents, near misses and non-conformances are correctly reported, investigated and corrective actions identified, participating in investigations as required

Competencies

• MVK/HVK or equivalent certification
• Occupational Health and Safety specialist (Arbeidshygienist (AH) desirable
• Experience in Incident investigation using COMET/TOPSET/Tripod methodologies or similar
• Good understanding of HSE legislation and specific Hazardous Materials, management systems and hazards
• Strong facilitator of improvement and change management
