Nurture Teaching Assistants Needed - Roles Across Huddersfield

Academics Educational Recruitment is currently recruiting passionate and dedicated Nurture Teaching Assistants to support a range of schools across Huddersfield, including Primary, Secondary, and SEN settings.

We are looking for individuals who can provide a caring, structured, and supportive environment for pupils who may need additional emotional and behavioural support to access learning and thrive in school.

This is a fantastic opportunity if you have experience working with children or young people in a variety of settings, including:

• Schools or education environments
• Youth work or community roles
• Healthcare or medical settings
• Personal or family support experience

Roles available:

• Immediate start positions
• Opportunities beginning after May half term
• September starts for the new academic year

Your role as a Nurture Teaching Assistant will include:

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
• Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
• Helping to create a safe and engaging learning environment
• Working closely with teachers and support staff

• Experience supporting children or young people
• A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• A genuine passion for helping pupils succeed
