Team Leader (room based) - 3 4 year olds

Contract & Working Hours

Fixed term, 9 months 40 hours per week 52 weeks per year

Working pattern: Varied shifts Monday-Friday between 07:30-18:30

Salary

£33,150.20-£36,836.80 per annum (pro rated) £15.94-£17.71 per hour

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging learning activities that promote development through play
• Act as a Key Person, observing, assessing and recording children's progress
• Advocate for safeguarding, ensuring every child feels safe, valued and happy and that their well being is promoted
• Lead and support the room team, fostering strong relationships, effective communication and empowerment
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment in accordance with EYFS standards

Qualifications

• DfE approved early years qualification at level 3 or above
• At least two years' experience working in an early years setting
• Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding policies
• Demonstrated collaborative leadership and team building skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
