A warm, welcoming, and well-established primary school in Walton-on-Thames (KT12) is looking to appoint a Level 3 EYFS Nursery Practitioner to join their Early Years team on a full-time, long-term basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive school where children are encouraged to learn through play, exploration, and nurturing relationships. You'll work alongside an experienced EYFS team to provide outstanding early years provision and help children thrive during the most important stage of their development.
The Role- Position: Level 3 EYFS Nursery Practitioner
- Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term
- Start Date: September 2026
- Location: Walton-on-Thames (KT12)
- Holds a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
- Has experience working within a nursery, preschool, or primary school EYFS setting
- Has a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework
- Is warm, nurturing, patient, and passionate about supporting young children
- Can build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Enjoys creating engaging, stimulating learning experiences through play
- Works well as part of a collaborative and supportive team
- Has excellent safeguarding awareness and a child-centred approach
- Support children's learning and development through high-quality play-based activities
- Help create a safe, stimulating and inclusive Early Years environment
- Support children's social, emotional, language and physical development
- Work alongside teachers and the wider EYFS team to deliver engaging learning experiences
- Observe children's progress and contribute towards assessments where appropriate
- Build strong relationships with parents, carers and colleagues

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position.
