If so, GSL Education Kent would love to hear from you! We are currently seeking a dedicated Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Nurse to join a welcoming school in Maidstone. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Nursery Nurse who enjoys working with early years children and wants to play an important role in their early education and development.

The school provides a caring and inclusive environment where children's wellbeing, learning, and development are at the heart of everything they do. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide engaging activities and high-quality care. The successful Nursery Nurse will help children develop their communication, social, physical, and early learning skills while encouraging confidence and independence.

As a Nursery Nurse, you will be expected to:

• Support the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate learning and play activities.
• Provide attentive care and support to children throughout the school day.
• Encourage children's communication, social, emotional, and physical development.
• Support individual children's learning and development in line with their needs and interests.
• Build positive and trusting relationships with children, staff, and parents/carers.
• Help maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive nursery environment.
• Follow all school policies, including safeguarding, health and safety, and child protection procedures.

To be considered for this Nursery Nurse role, candidates must:

• Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• Have previous experience working within a nursery, early years, school, or childcare setting.
• Demonstrate a genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and development.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be patient, caring, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Have the right to work in the UK.
• Meet GSL's safer recruitment background checks.
• Have an Enhanced Child DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
