Location: Merton, London
Contract: Initial 5 months
Hours: 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Rate: £23 per hour (umbrella) - (£19 PAYE an hour)

Are you a passionate and experienced Nursery Nurse looking to make a difference in a vibrant early years setting? Merton Council is seeking a dedicated professional to join their team, supporting children aged 2 to 4 in a well-resourced, inclusive nursery environment.

Key Details:

• Full-time role, working 35 hours per week across a shift pattern:
  
  • Earliest shift: 7:30am-3:30pm
  • Latest shift: 10:00am-6:00pm
• All children are cared for in one large open-plan room with the full team, currently supporting up to 24 children per day, in line with Ofsted ratios.
• You'll be part of a warm, collaborative team providing a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for young children.

What We're Looking For:

• Essential: Previous experience as a Nursery Nurse, working in a nursery or preschool setting.
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework, strong observational skills, and a caring, child-centered approach.
• A Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years is preferred.
• Ability to support children's development through play, routine, and educational activities.
