Overview

Join Childbase Partnership and be part of something extraordinary. Domestic Assistant. Location: Field House Day Nursery, Buckingham, MK18 1ST. Contract: Permanent, 20 hours/week, 52 weeks/year. Working pattern: Monday Friday 15 00 or 16 00. Salary: £25,096.50 per annum (pro rata) or £12.87 per hour.

Responsibilities

You will maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness as a professional housekeeper or cleaner. Tasks include restocking supplies in bathrooms and kitchens, emptying bins, sweeping and mopping floors, high level dusting, washing up to support the kitchen team and taking care of the laundry.

Using your knowledge of COSHH and your initiative, you will ensure a safe environment. You will act as an advocate for safeguarding, ensuring the well being of every child and all adults within the nursery.

Qualifications and Personal Qualities

Experience: professional housekeeper or cleaner, maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.

  • Diligent, with knowledge of COSHH.
  • Proactive initiative to uphold a safe environment.
  • Advocacy for safeguarding.
  • Collaborative, thrives as part of a team and builds supportive, respectful relationships.
Eligibility

Applicants must currently reside within a commutable distance of the nursery and hold a suitable Right to Work in the UK. Visa sponsorship is not available.
