About the Role:

The successful candidate will be expected to raise attainment standards, ensure planning, assessment, and reporting meet pupils' diverse needs, and uphold the school's positive ethos and core values both inside and outside the classroom. The core purpose is to be an outstanding and confident classroom practitioner demonstrating the highest teaching standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote the progress and attainment of all pupils
• Assist in tracking student progress and implement positive intervention strategies
• Contribute actively to teaching all pupils
• Deliver quality phonics lessons daily
• Stay informed of current developments in the subject area and participate in INSET
• Implement a wide range of effective teaching methods

Leadership and Management:

• Assess pupils and evaluate the impact of teaching through data analysis and monitoring
• Possess excellent ICT skills and integrate these into teaching
• Provide accurate information to parents and attend parent evenings and meetings
• Maintain an organized and effective classroom environment
• Engage in professional development discussions with the Headteacher
• Undertake additional duties as reasonably required
