TeacherActive is proud to be working in partnership with various nurseries across Hull & surrounding areas. We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Assistant to join our agency team, supporting children with their learning and development while providing a safe, caring, and stimulating environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping the early years experiences of children and to gain valuable experience in a multitude of different nursery settings.

What are we looking for?

We are particularly interested in Nursery Assistants with:

Experience supporting children in an Early Years or childcare environment

Knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development

A caring, nurturing, and enthusiastic approach

Strong communication skills to engage with children, parents, and staff

A flexible, reliable, and proactive attitude

• A level 2 or 3 Childcare or Early Years qualification

The ideal Nursery Assistant will:

Be passionate about creating fun and engaging learning opportunities

Demonstrate patience, creativity, and adaptability

Support with activities that promote children's social, emotional, and educational development

Help maintain a safe and clean environment in line with safeguarding and health & safety requirements
