NTE Data Center Security Manager, APJC NTE Security

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support data centers, servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment to ensure continual customer access to innovation. We work on challenging problems with many variables impacting the supply chain, and we seek talented individuals to join us.

You will join a diverse team of engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and more. Your role involves collaborating across AWS to uphold safety and security standards, providing capacity at low cost, and fostering an inclusive culture that encourages bold ideas.

We are hiring a highly motivated NTE Security Manager for our sites across APAC, based in Taiwan. The role oversees security system installations, manages on-site physical security, evaluates and addresses security gaps, implements remediation strategies, and ensures ongoing protection of remote data center operations.

The role also involves standardizing regional security practices, driving innovation, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders, overseeing vendor partnerships, compiling reports, providing updates to management, leveraging data insights, and ensuring compliance with security protocols. The candidate must be self-motivated with strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, capable of operating independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze security operations for efficiency, risk mitigation, and security enhancement.
  • Lead regional security projects and standardization initiatives.
  • Evaluate security situations, make decisions under pressure, and develop action plans.
  • Create and manage performance metrics to monitor security posture.
  • Oversee and collaborate with security service providers.
  • Investigate incidents, analyze root causes, and produce reports.
  • Conduct security training for employees and contractors.
  • Coordinate security operations and project execution internationally, requiring travel.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • 3+ years of cross-functional collaboration with tech and non-tech teams
  • 3+ years of process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and SQL knowledge
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data to drive improvements
  • Experience managing end-to-end delivery and reporting to senior leadership
  • Experience in stakeholder management across organizational levels
  • Experience building processes, managing projects, and scheduling
