Non-Functional Test Manager

Our client, a distinguished entity in the technology sector, is currently seeking a Quality Manager to join their team on a contract basis. This dynamic role combines the responsibilities of a Quality Manager and a Senior Test Manager, with a particular focus on System Integration Testing (SIT) or Non-Functional Testing (NFT).

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing and managing the quality assurance processes within the IT department
• Leading SIT or NFT activities to ensure compliance with established standards
• Developing and implementing quality assurance strategies and frameworks
• Coordinating with project managers and other stakeholders to align testing strategies with business objectives
• Identifying, analysing, and reporting on quality issues and risks
• Ensuring thorough documentation and reporting of testing outcomes
• Fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the QA team
• Providing leadership and mentorship to junior quality assurance staff

Job Requirements:

• Experience in IT quality assurance, specifically in SIT or NFT
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and best practices
• Proven ability to develop and implement effective QA strategies
• Excellent organisational and project management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Relevant qualifications in IT or a related field
