We have an excellent career opportunity for the role of Night Support Workers to join our team here at Amber House based at our modern 13 bedroom Residential Home based in Broughton, Scunthorpe (DN20 postcode).

Shift patterns: We can offer you excellent working patterns to suit your personal life.

A typical week will be Week 1 working Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday and then Week 2 working Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Night shifts are 19:45pm to 07:45am

Hours: We can offer you excellent working hours to suit you, such as 36, 42 or 48 hours a week. Excellent shifts to work around your family life.

Pay: Starting rate of pay of £12.80 - £13.75.

PLUS a £250 joining bonus paid to you which is paid to you when you pass your probationary period.

Key responsibilities
  • Supporting young adults and adults with Learning Disabilities, Complex Needs and Behaviours of Concern within a Residential Home environment.
  • Providing high standards of care and support for service users, in line with care and support plans, compliance with CQC regulations and the care & support policies and procedures
  • Identifying needs and preferences for each individual and providing personal care
  • Encourage good community relationships by promoting a variety of activities
  • Accurately report, record and maintain records as required and working to care plans
  • Be a kind, empathetic and people person who works well in a team.
