About this role

In this role, you'll support one individual with complex needs as part of a consistent care team, with regular weekly shifts and rotas planned in advance. While the role is offered on a flexible zero-hours contract, the work is ongoing and typically provides a stable working pattern with the same client.

What you'll be doing:

• 12-hour waking night shifts (21:00 - 9:00)
• Delivering person-centred, one-to-one care
• Supporting with all aspects of daily living and personal care
• Providing specialist clinical support (full training provided)
• Preparing meals and supporting household routines
• Supporting the client to engage in outings hobbies and activities
• Building a strong, trusting relationship through consistent care
• Build positive working relationships, communicate openly and professionally, and contribute to a supportive and respectful team environment.
• Follow organisational policies, procedures, safeguarding requirements, and professional standards at all times.

Requirements

• Full UK manual drivers licence - to drive the clients vehicle
• Comfortable around animals
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care and be willing to go the extra mile to support the people we care for.
• Reliable, consistent, and passionate about making a positive difference every day.
• Show genuine compassion and a natural desire to support, encourage, empower, and uplift others.
• Treat everyone with dignity, patience, understanding, and empathy, recognising each person as an individual.
