Job Title: Night Production Operative

Location: Ledbury
Contract Type: 6 month ongoing
Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour
Shift Pattern: Sunday to Thursday 22:00pm - 06:00am

Please note: this role involves working in chilled environments (average temperature +8 C)

This is a great opportunity if you re looking for a stable role with the chance to transition to a permanent position for the right candidate. This is initial 6-month ongoing position with potential of work to be extended.

Key Responsibilities

• Stock Management:
  • Picking stock from designated collection locations and placing it where needed.
  • Replenishing stock in the production areas as required.
• Production Line Duties:
  • Packing products on the production line, ensuring that products are packed securely and efficiently.
  • Ensuring that all products meet the correct weight requirements for packaging.
• Quality Control:
  • Conducting regular quality checks on all items to ensure that they meet company standards.
• Labelling and Coding:
  • Labelling products with the correct batch codes and labels to ensure traceability and compliance with regulations.
• Environmental Conditions:
  • Working in chilled environments, with temperatures around +8 C. Candidates should be comfortable with this temperature range for the duration of the shift.

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience in a similar production or warehouse role would be beneficial but not essential.
• Ability to work efficiently and maintain high-quality standards.
• Good attention to detail, especially with packing, labelling, and performing quality checks.
• Comfortable working in a chilled environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.

Basic Hours & Pay Rate

Sunday to Thursday

• 22:00 to 06:00, paid 37.5 hours a week
• £14.50 per hour basic rate
