Night Replenishment, Supermarket Assistant

About the Role

As a Supermarket Assistant, you will help make a positive difference for our customers by delivering Partner led service and passion for food. Your goal is to earn customers' trust and loyalty by giving a welcoming experience that sets Waitrose apart.

Contract type: Permanent. Working hours: 16.5 hours part time, night work across seven days, 01 00, including weekends. Pay: £13.00 per hour (£13.25 after 90 days). Night premium of £3.75 per hour applies for hours 22 00.

Key Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment - keep shelves stocked and products in the right place at the right time.
• Fulfil online customer orders for delivery drivers.
• Reduce wastage by monitoring due dates and applying markdowns.
• Support the shop team as needed, including checkout, Click & Collect and on demand orders.
• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Clear communication skills for teamwork and customer interaction.
• Ability to work independently and support the team when required.

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Previous customer facing retail experience.
• Up to date knowledge and interest in food and drink trends.
• Flexible approach to accommodate branch support.

Other Requirements
