Night Replenishment, Supermarket Assistant

About the Role

As a Supermarket Assistant, you'll help our difference be felt by our customers on every visit, providing partner led service and passion for food that competitors cannot compete with.

In addition to your contractual pay, any time worked between 22:00 and 06:00 will attract a night premium of £3.75 per hour. This also applies to existing Partners enrolled in Enhanced Hours Premium arrangements. Applicants must be 18 years or over.

Key Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment - ensuring shelves remain full and products are in the right place at the right time.
• Fulfilling online customer orders for delivery by our drivers.
• Reducing wastage by following product due diligence and markdowns for items approaching sell by dates.
• Supporting the shop team - checkout support, managing Click & Collect orders, and on demand customer orders as needed.
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment with general shopkeeping tasks.

Essential Skills / Experience

• Strong communication skills to work effectively as part of a team and with customers.

Desirable Skills / Experience

• Experience in a customer facing role.
• Up to date knowledge and strong interest in food and drink trends.
• Flexible approach to support the entire branch.

Pay & Hours

Pay: £13.00 (£13.25 after 90 days); Contract type: Temporary; Hours: 21:00-01:00, over 3 shifts on various nights.
