Night Replenishment, Supermarket Assistant

About the Role

As a Supermarket Assistant, you will help our difference be felt by our customers on every visit, providing the Partner led service and passion for food that our competitors cannot compete with.

Night Premium of £3.75 per hour is paid for work between 22:00 and 06:00, and applies to existing Partners enrolled on Enhanced Hours Premium arrangements. Applicants must be 18 years or older to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment - ensuring shelves remain as full as possible and products are in the right place at the right time for customers.
• Fulfilling online customer orders ready for drivers to deliver directly to customer doors.
• Reducing wastage by following product due diligence and markdowns for items approaching sell by dates.
• Working with the wider shop team to support when needed, including checkout support, managing Click & Collect orders, fulfilling on demand customer orders, and more.
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment with general shop keeping tasks.

Essential Skills / Experience

• Communication skills to work effectively as part of a team and with customers.

Desirable Skills / Experience

• Experience in a customer facing role.
• Knowledge and strong interest in food and drink trends.
• Flexible approach to support the entire branch.

Pay & Working Hours

• Pay: £13.00 per hour (£13.25 after 90 days). Night premium of £3.75 per hour for work between 22:00 and 06:00.
• Contract Type: Permanent.
• Hours: 20 hours of part time work across seven days, 21:00-07:00.
• Job Level: Partnership Level 10.
• Closing Date: July 13, 2026.
