Full time, Permanent contract. Shift pattern: Nights, 45 hours per week.

Responsibilities

As an Asda Night Manager you will manage and lead the night team to keep everything running while the rest of the world sleeps. You will oversee the store during nights, ensuring shop floor standards, safety, and legal compliance. You will plan and execute all trading activity, managing date rotation, waste, returns, and store presentation before handing over to the day team.

• Drive strategy into action: Plan and execute trading activity, manage waste and returns, limit damage through replenishment.
• Lead with impact: Coach night colleagues and team leaders to deliver excellent shop floor standards and a customer centric culture.
• Execution focused: Ensure the shop floor is landed, presentable, and promotional areas are ready for the next shift.
• Talent development: Listen with empathy, encourage ownership, foster resilience and passion, and support team growth.

Requirements

• Experience supervising or managing teams in a retail grocery environment, preferably overnight.
• Ability to make independent decisions, with a hands on attitude and drive for process improvement.
• Confidence in developing teams and managing change.
• Strong customer service focus.
• Flexibility to work a range of night shifts, including weekends.
