Responsibilities

• Plan and execute all trading activity on the shop floor during the night shift, ensuring accurate delivery, rotation, waste, and returns management.
• Lead and coach night colleagues and team leaders to maintain excellent shop floor standards and a culture of selling.
• Ensure the shop floor is landed and presentable for customers before handing over to the day team, including promotion, foyer, and hot spot readiness.
• Create an environment that encourages ownership, resilience, and passion for the business, supporting team development.
• Oversee store operations throughout the night, making independent decisions and driving process improvements.
• Maintain safety, legal compliance, and store security for customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising or managing teams in a retail grocery environment, preferably during overnight shifts.
• Strong customer service focus and confidence in developing teams and managing change.
• Ability to make decisions independently with a hands on attitude and a drive to improve processes and people.
• Flexibility to work a range of night shifts, including weekends.
• Drive strategy into action, talent development, and execution focused mindset.
