Job Description

TSR Legal has an excellent opportunity for a Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team in Cardiff. This role can be offered at Consultant or Senior Consultant level depending on experience.

You will be joining a highly experienced team that is recognised as a market leader in legal recruitment.

This is a full 360 recruitment role where you will manage the entire recruitment process from business development and client management through to candidate sourcing and successful placement.

The role will involve working with law firms across the region on a range of hires, including senior level appointments, helping clients identify and secure high quality legal professionals.

You will be responsible for developing new relationships with law firms while also working with existing clients. Building and maintaining a strong network of legal professionals will be a key part of the role, ensuring you are well positioned to introduce candidates to suitable opportunities and support clients with their hiring needs.

Key responsibilities:
  • Managing a full 360 recruitment desk within the legal sector
  • Developing relationships with law firms across South Wales and the South West
  • Building and maintaining a strong network of legal professionals
  • Managing the recruitment process from initial brief through to placement
  • Identifying and approaching high quality candidates within the market
  • Understanding candidate career aspirations and advising on suitable opportunities
  • Supporting clients with market insight and recruitment advice
  • Managing social media activity including LinkedIn and job advertising
  • Ensuring both candidates and clients receive a professional and high quality recruitment service
The kind of person and skills we are looking for:
  • Strong IT skills and confidence using a range of systems
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to build long term relationships with candidates and clients
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Experience using LinkedIn and other social media platforms in a professional capacity
  • A proactive and professional approach
Requirements
  • Ideally at least 18 months recruitment experience or previous experience working within the legal profession such as a paralegal or fee earner
  • Knowledge of the legal market would be beneficial

The position is full time and permanent with a mix of home working and office working in Cardiff City Centre. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
