Network Supervisor (Ad hoc contract) - Must Be Wales Based

We are seeking an experienced Network Supervisor to oversee the management, operation, and maintenance of a large-scale network infrastructure spanning 100 sites across the UK. This exciting 12-month contract offers the opportunity to lead a dynamic team while ensuring optimal performance and security of the network.

Key Details:

Duration: Ad hoc role until December 2025 (1-3 days per week)
Rate: Up to £400 Per day - Inside IR35
Location: Wales (North/South)

Must Haves:

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of LAN/WAN, VPNs, and cloud networks to ensure stability and reliability across all sites.
• Diagnose and resolve network issues quickly and efficiently using monitoring tools.
• Manage network upgrades, migrations, and deployments, ensuring projects meet deadlines and budget constraints.
• Work closely with third-party vendors for hardware procurement and technical support.
• Maintain detailed records of network designs, configurations, and policies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to haves:

• Understanding of SDWAN (Fortinet)
• Knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and switching technologies (Layer 2/3).
• Proficiency in network monitoring and diagnostic tools
