As a Cisco (Certified) Network & Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in protecting the Global IT environment. You will design, operate, and continuously improve network security solutions in a highly available production environment, applying strict no downtime principles. Your Tasks

• Operate and maintain Checkpoint, Checkpoint Maestro Hyperscale, and Palo Alto Firewalls in line with no downtime principles
• Manage and execute projects aimed at improving network security
• Troubleshoot and resolve Firewall issues in a live production environment
• Build and maintain a Firewall lab/test environment comparable to production setups
• Resolve incidents involving adjacent network devices
• Design and implement new security principles to protect the Global Aviation IT environment from external threats

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience in network security
• Extensive knowledge of routing protocols, with strong expertise in OSPF
• Extensive hands on experience with Checkpoint and Palo Alto Firewalls
• Strong knowledge of Layer 2/Layer 3 networking
• CCSA certification (or equivalent)
• CCSE certification (or equivalent)
• CCSM certification is a plus
• CCME certification is a plus
• Experience working with Linux and Windows Servers in a networked environment
• Proven experience in maintaining and debugging network equipment
• Experience with Checkpoint R81.x/R82.x
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
