Your opportunity as a CL6 Senior ManagerLead the architecture and transformation of secure enterprise network infrastructure and Zero Trust environments for major clients. Act as a senior technical authority across on-premises, cloud and hybrid networks, translating business and security requirements into pragmatic target architectures and phased implementation roadmaps. Guide multidisciplinary delivery teams, advise senior client stakeholders, and support solution shaping and growth opportunities.
As a Network Infrastructure & Zero Trust Security Architect, your responsibilities will include: Enterprise Network Architecture & Design- Own current-state assessments and target-state designs for enterprise LAN/WAN, campus and data centre networks, cloud connectivity, DNS/DHCP, routing, switching, firewalls and resilient hybrid infrastructure.
- Define architecture principles, reference patterns, high-level designs and low-level design standards, including availability, performance, resilience, observability and operational support requirements.
- Lead network modernisation and transformation roadmaps, balancing technical debt, security risk, migration dependencies, commercial constraints and business continuity.
- Design segmentation and microsegmentation patterns across users, workloads, applications and environments, with clear trust boundaries and policy enforcement points.
- Partner with client network, infrastructure, cloud, identity, security and operations teams, and with technology vendors, to align designs with business needs and delivery constraints.
- Translate Zero Trust principles and NIST SP 800-207 into practical architectures covering identity-aware access, device posture, least privilege, continuous verification and application access.
- Architect ZTNA, SASE/SSE, secure web gateway, cloud access security broker, SD-WAN and network access control capabilities, integrating with IAM, endpoint, logging and security monitoring services.
- Lead technology evaluations, proof-of-concepts and design assurance, assessing interoperability, migration risk, operational readiness and measurable security outcomes.
- Oversee implementation architecture and technical escalation, providing design authority rather than acting as the day-to-day configuration engineer.
- Own architectural governance, design reviews, technical risk and decision records across complex programmes; ensure solutions remain secure, supportable and aligned to agreed outcomes.
- Lead and mentor architects and engineers across network, cloud and cybersecurity disciplines; coordinate client teams, delivery partners and vendors.
- Advise senior stakeholders on architecture options, investment priorities and delivery sequencing; contribute technical leadership to proposals, estimations and client workshops.
- Experience in enterprise networking, infrastructure architecture or network security, including substantial responsibility for complex multi-site or hybrid transformations.
- Deep knowledge of IP networking, routing and switching, WAN/SD-WAN, firewalls, network segmentation, DNS/DHCP, load balancing, high availability and hybrid/cloud connectivity.
- Demonstrable Zero Trust architecture experience, including NIST SP 800-207, ZTNA, SASE/SSE, IAM integration, endpoint posture and policy-based access.
- Proven ownership of current-state assessments, target-state architectures, HLDs, design governance, migration plans and technical assurance.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams and engaging senior client stakeholders, with the ability to explain trade-offs, risks and business value.
- Experience working with major network/security platforms and cloud networking in Azure, AWS or GCP; strong understanding of integration and operational support.
- Ability to contribute to solution shaping, technical proposals, delivery estimates and vendor selection within large, matrixed client environments.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, CISSP, CCSP, cloud networking or security architecture credentials, and leading SASE/Zero Trust vendor accreditations.
- Experience in regulated or critical infrastructure environments, large-scale network transformation, microsegmentation, or measurable improvement of network resilience and security.
Flexibility and mobility are required to deliver this role as there may be requirements to spend time onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery of the first-class services we are known for.
