Network Manager

THE BUSINESSC4S Search are partnering with a leading national organisation. They are seeking an experienced Network Manager to lead the implementation, design and optimisation of enterprise wide network infrastructure. This role offers the opportunity to drive innovation, manage a skilled team of network professionals, and ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of business critical systems supporting a complex, high volume environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead the design, deployment, and optimisation of enterprise network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, SD WAN, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Manage and mentor a team of onshore and offshore network engineers, ensuring performance, collaboration, and technical growth.
- Oversee configuration, maintenance, and security of routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers to ensure network reliability and compliance.
- Drive automation and efficiency through tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and scripting, improving operational consistency and scalability.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders and cross functional teams to align network strategy with business transformation and digital initiatives.
- Deep technical expertise in Cisco technologies (routing, switching, firewalls, VPN, Cisco Umbrella) and SD WAN architecture.
- Strong understanding of core networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, QoS) and network security best practices.
- Proven experience managing enterprise level network operations and leading technical teams in fast paced environments.
- Proficiency in network automation and scripting using Python, Bash, Ansible, or Terraform.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills with the ability to balance strategic and hands on responsibilities.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Cisco certification at a minimum of CCNP level; CCIE or equivalent expert level certification preferred.
