Key Responsibilities as a Network Designer for BT:- Design and implement innovative network solutions tailored to the needs of major UK clients.
- As a design specialist you will promote what we do and understand the customers' needs to relevant solutions.
- Optimise network performance to ensure reliability and scalability for enterprise-grade applications.
- Stay ahead of industry trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation in network design.
- Drive a consultative approach by engaging with clients to understand their unique needs, providing tailored network design solutions, and fostering long-term partnerships to ensure strategic alignment and success.
- Proven experience in network design, ideally with enterprise or public sector clients.
- Strong knowledge of modern networking technologies - Fortinet SD-WAN, WAN/LAN, WiFi
- Fortinet SD-WAN Certifications (Preferred):
FCSS - Network Security (SD-WAN Focus): Expertise in deploying and managing Fortinet Secure SD-WAN solutions. Requires FCSS - Secure Access Service Edge and FCSS - SD-WAN 7.4 Architect exams.
NSE 7 - SD-WAN 7.2: Validates skills in configuring and troubleshooting Fortinet SD-WAN features. Requires NSE 4 certification.
FCP - Network Security: Includes SD-WAN knowledge, focusing on FortiGate administration and FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer specialization. Requires NSE 4 certification.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for tackling complex technical challenges.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications: CCNA and CCNP.
