Job Title: Network Designer

Location: UK (Hybrid - 3 days in office, 2 flexible)

Key Responsibilities as a Network Designer for BT:

1. Design and implement innovative network solutions tailored to the needs of major UK clients.
2. Promote our services and understand customer needs to develop relevant solutions.
3. Optimise network performance to ensure reliability and scalability for enterprise-grade applications.
4. Stay ahead of industry trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation in network design.
5. Engage with clients to understand their needs, provide tailored network design solutions, and foster long-term partnerships for strategic success.

Required Skills/Certifications:

1. Proven experience in network design, ideally with enterprise or public sector clients.
2. Strong knowledge of modern networking technologies - Fortinet SD-WAN, WAN/LAN, WiFi.
3. Fortinet SD-WAN Certifications (Preferred):
   • FCSS - Network Security (SD-WAN Focus): Expertise in deploying and managing Fortinet Secure SD-WAN solutions. Requires FCSS - Secure Access Service Edge and FCSS - SD-WAN 7.4 Architect exams.
   • NSE 7 - SD-WAN 7.2: Validates skills in configuring and troubleshooting Fortinet SD-WAN features. Requires NSE 4 certification.
   • FCP - Network Security: Includes SD-WAN knowledge, focusing on FortiGate administration and FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer. Requires NSE 4 certification.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for tackling complex technical challenges.
5. Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
6. Certifications: CCNA and CCNP.
