Network Consultant - System Integrator

This role offers an exciting blend of hands-on technical work and pre-sales consultancy, perfect for a network engineer looking to deepen their involvement in the pre-sales lifecycle while keeping their technical skills sharp. You'll manage projects from initial customer engagement through design, pre-staging, proof-of-concept, and handover, with an ideal split of approximately 75% pre-sales and 25% technical delivery great for someone who enjoys both customer interaction and working directly with technology. Key Responsibilities

• Pre-Sales Engagement: Attend customer meetings, understand requirements, design solutions, and assist sales teams with technical expertise.
• Solution Design & Implementation: Architect networks across LAN, WLAN, SD-WAN and security domains.
• PoC & Pre-Staging: Build out solutions to validate designs and provide technical assurance.
• Lifecycle Ownership: See projects through from engagement to delivery and transition to support.

Skills & Requirements:

• Hands-on Networking Skills: Strong experience with Cisco, Fortinet, and Extreme Networks.
• Desirable: Exposure to Juniper Mist AI a major MistAI rollout is coming soon!

Core Tech:

• Cisco SD-WAN
• Cisco and Juniper LAN/WLAN
• Attitude: Someone technical, customer-focused, and eager to expand into greater pre-sales responsibility.
• Experience: Working with large-scale retail environments (beneficial but not essential).

Salary & Benefits:

• Base Salary: £50,000-£60,000 per annum
