Network Configuration Specialist

This highly technical Network Implementation Specialist role enables the implementation of the latest technology to meet our customers' business needs. You'll execute a range of workstreams in the delivery of highly skilled customer service for multiple customer accounts, proactively managing customer needs to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction, and that expectations are met and surpassed.

We configure, test, troubleshoot, and continually monitor our customers' networks to ensure resilience and availability.

What you'll be doing
  1. Configuring, implementing, testing, and troubleshooting IT infrastructure
  2. Translating customer requirements into accurate, working configurations, diagrams, and instructions for other agents
  3. Providing point of technical escalation within the team for complex issues
  4. Leading knowledge-sharing opportunities
  5. Working effectively with the customer and/or their representatives, and other parts of BT during production and delivery
What we would like to see on your CV
  1. A current or expired Cisco CCNP certification
  2. Evidence of taking ownership of delivering project work packages
  3. Production of documentation to enable in-life support
  4. Evidence of device configuration, testing, and troubleshooting
  5. Willingness to undergo Government Security Clearance to SC level, which requires residence in the UK for a minimum of 5 years

Flexible Working

This role offers a 3 days in the office, 2 days flexible working model. You are required to be at your contractual location 3 days a week with 2 flexible days.
