.Net Architect/Lead- 8+ Months- Interim - ASAP

Global Enterprise Partners is currently seeking an experienced .NET Architect to take on a key technical lead role for one of our clients in Brussels. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the architecture and technical direction of Portals & Platforms, consisting of five strategic products hosted on Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS).

Role Overview

As the .NET Architect, you will:

• Take full technical ownership of a suite of .NET 8 microservices products.
• Lead and mentor multiple Full Stack .NET development teams.
• Ensure high-quality architecture aligned with clean architecture principles.
• Oversee development in an AKS/Kubernetes environment.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Tech Leads, Developers, and Architects.
• Drive technical excellence, innovation, and best practices across teams.

You'll be working with:

• C#
• .NET 8 Microservices, SQL/MongoDB
• Azure Cloud, Blazor, Kubernetes (Helm)
• Clean Architecture. Dapr

Strong hands-on knowledge of AKS and Kubernetes is essential.

Requirements:

• English (professional working proficiency).
• Solid architectural background in .NET technologies.

Soft Skills:

• Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Coach and mentor developer teams.
• Play an active, hands-on role in Scrum teams.
• Coordinate and guide multiple development teams during sprints.
• Tackle complex technical issues with strong analytical thinking.
• Provide a clear vision and roadmap for target architecture.
• Constructively challenge technical decisions.
• Collaborate with Product Owners on feature feasibility and impact.
• Organize technical workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Manage priorities and emergencies effectively.
• Work with a structured, solution-oriented mindset.
• Maintain strong awareness of new technologies and industry trends.

• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 6months + with extensions
• Location: Hybrid - 2 days/week onsite in Brussels
• Contract Type: Full-time, freelance
