NEC 4 Project Manager

MERITUS are recruiting for an NEC 4 Project Manager to join our client, a bespoke electrical consultancy, on a long term framework within the nuclear industry.

NEC 4 PROJECT MANAGER - £70,000 PER ANNUM - ALDERMASTON, BERKSHIRE - IMMEDIATE START AVAILABLE - NEC 3/4 PROJECT EXPERIENCE

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the full project life cycle-from contract award through to final delivery-ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of multiple concurrent contracts, ensuring compliance with Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental objectives.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver PLC and SCADA-based control system solutions, meeting the stringent requirements of regulated industries. If you do not yet have experience in the nuclear or defence sector, we offer tailored training to bring your expertise up to industry standards.

What You'll Be Doing

• Oversee the delivery of multiple automation and control system projects from initiation to handover

• Manage client relationships, project resources, timelines, budgets, and scope changes

• Ensure all project deliverables meet contractual and regulatory requirements

• Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external stakeholders to resolve technical and operational challenges

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and best practices across the business

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience delivering industrial automation projects, ideally within regulated environments

• Strong background in managing the implementation of PLC and SCADA systems

• Solid understanding of contractual responsibilities and client satisfaction metrics

• APMP or equivalent Project Management qualification

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

• Experience working in or familiarity with the nuclear or defence sector is highly desirable
