What does the role involve?
Reporting into our Head of Sales - Specialist Assets, you'll take the lead in driving performance across our Specialist Asset Business Development Managers, playing a key role in securing new business through compelling proposals and successful bids. You'll ensure our value proposition stands out in the Specialist Asset market, clearly showcasing the strength and capability of our offer.
Some of your key duties will include:
- Achieving targets of new customer wins in the Specialist Asset corporate channel through effective performance and activity management of your team
- Liaising with key stakeholders and internal departments to provide input for new business proposals, tenders, bids and contract renewals
- Collaborating with Finance on building and designing financial models, as well as developing robust bid management tools for the purpose of building strong and compelling business cases to assess the profitability of each deal offered to prospective customers
- Identification of new market sectors that Novuna Vehicle Solutions can enter into, and support marketing in the development of new products to meet the needs of these customers
What are we looking for?
To succeed in this role, you'll be a proven sales leader with a strong track record of driving team performance and consistently delivering results. A natural relationship builder, you'll lead from the front-empowering your team to succeed while actively managing your own pipeline and contributing directly to our sales growth.
Also, we're looking for the following:
- Experience of working within the commercial HGV industry
- Exposure to supporting customers with their decarbonisation agenda
- A proven track record of delivering tenders that meet the needs of customers
- A results-oriented, driven mindset
