This organisation is a fantastic place to develop a NAM career. Reporting into the head of grocery, you will take full P&L responsibility for a top 4 grocery account selling in their market leading, premium range of garden products, plant feed, growing media and tools that are a much loved and trusted household name. They have an enviable market share across all retail channels and are constantly innovating and acquiring brands to strengthen their offering. The reach of this business is huge and they have experienced phenomenal sales in the last 3 years. The career prospects across their brands and channels are very attractive.
The RoleFollowing a structured company induction, you will be accountable for a top 4 grocery account and take full responsibility for the business plan, marketing strategy and P&L for the retailer. You will own the buyer relationships and spend time working on category growth opportunities, promotional activity and marketing spend. A detail orientated commercial candidate with strong relationship building skills is key to success in the role. You will be part of an experienced and high performing but friendly team who all share a passion or gardening and garden products! This role will suit a NAM who is on the way up in their career, either working for a small brand or company but managing a grocery retailer or it could suit a NAM who is managing a non grocery account and wanting to take the next step in their career.
Requirements- 1-3 years managing Grocery or Discounter Retailer as a National Account Manager
- Has been responsible for P&L and business plan execution for a large value customer
- Detail orientated, commercial acumen and has shown growth in a challenging environment
- Up to £55,000 basic salary plus £15-20% bonus
