Position: National Sales Account Manager OXO
Department: OXO Home and Lifestyle (Kitchen and Homeware)
Work Location: Fully Remote - Midlands or London based candidates for ease of travel to key clients North and South
Contract Type: Permanent, full-time
What you will be doing:
National Sales Manager, OXO Home (Outdoor & Lifestyle Division)As the National Sales Manager for OXO Home's Outdoor & Lifestyle division, you will lead the commercial strategy, execution, and performance of this fast growing category. Your mission is to drive sustainable revenue growth by developing strong customer partnerships, delivering exceptional retail execution, and ensuring our products reach consumers with excellence and impact.
You will be responsible for building and inspiring a high performing sales team, shaping annual business plans, and working cross functionally with Product, Marketing, and Merchandising teams to bring category strategies to life. In this role, you will champion consistency, fairness, and operational discipline-ensuring processes run smoothly, timelines are met, and all stakeholders are equipped with the information they need to make informed, timely decisions.
Success in this position means setting clear expectations, maintaining strong communication channels, and creating a structured, transparent environment where collaboration thrives and performance is elevated. You will be a key ambassador of the OXO brand, driving market presence and securing its leadership within the Outdoor & Lifestyle space.
Role Responsibilities:
Strategy Development
- Execute commercial strategy to drive revenue, profitability, and long term growth for OXO SoftWorks and Hydro Flask within assigned accounts.
- Open new grocery retail partnerships where SoftWorks is not currently listed.
- Develop channel strategies, identifying priority SKU/customer combinations and converting them into actionable plans.
- Manage full customer P&L with forward looking insight on market trends, pricing, margin, and portfolio evolution.
- Identify and activate new business opportunities to maximize short and long term profit.
- Ensure strategic alignment with broader EMEA priorities and leverage synergies across the sales organization.
- Lead the long term strategic agenda for key customers, building strong partnerships and supporting category growth.
- Allocate brand resources effectively across accounts to maximize customer and channel impact.
Account Management
- Translate commercial strategy into robust annual agreements and Joint Business Plans for assigned customers.
- Onboard new business across grocery and emerging/unopened channels (e.g., DIY).
- Manage pricing frameworks and promotional submissions, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Monitor performance across GSV, gross profit, and margin targets, delivering against all commercial commitments.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive customer contact plan to ensure strong multi functional engagement.
- Partner closely with e commerce, supply chain, logistics, and finance to enable seamless execution.
- Maximize distribution, visibility, and promotional effectiveness both online and in store to drive incremental sales.
- Oversee online platform maintenance and ensure high quality brand representation.
- Track account performance across volume, revenue, margin, stock, and investment, taking corrective action where required.
- Manage inventory, including actions to sell through excess stock and clear obsolete items responsibly.
- Deliver accurate forecasting to support inventory planning, minimize risk, and maintain high service levels.
Admin & Reporting
- Deliver regular performance reports (NSV, margin, ACM, KPIs) with clear insights and corrective actions.
- Share customer, market, competitor, and field insights with cross functional teams to strengthen planning and execution.
- Manage all administrative tasks, ensuring accurate setup of new products, pricing, and commercial terms across customer and internal systems.
- Support the Sales Director/Sales Manager with coordination of third party sales partner meetings and commercial activities.
- Oversee customer specific POS budgets, ensuring spend is optimized and aligned to commercial priorities.
- Maintain accurate customer price lists, brand presentations, and product materials for effective engagement.
- Update marketing and promotional calendars and internal communication platforms to ensure alignment and visibility across teams.
Skills /Minimum Qualifications needed to be successful in this role:
- University Degree or comparable commercial education with 5 years' Account Management experience' within (international) FMCG or CE, preferably A-brands
- Proven track record managing national retailers and mass channel
- Excellent knowledge of the Retail and Grocery Sector would be ideal
- Budget & reporting skills
- Proficient in MS Office tools
- Fluent in English
- Authorized to work in the UK free of immigration restrictions
- Full clean drivers licence required
