ROLE: Nanny-Housekeeper

Hours: Monday - Friday 8/9am - 4/5pm flexible 40hrs per week (of for the right candidate 30hrs)

Children's ages: 1.5-year-old Girl

We are recruiting on behalf of a warm, welcoming family in Kenley who are seeking a nurturing,

reliable and proactive full-time nanny for their one-year-old daughter. We have successfully

worked with this family before, and they are now looking for another long-term nanny to join

their household.

The primary focus of the role is on providing high-quality care, stimulation and support to their

little girl, while also assisting with housekeeping and occasional PA-style duties to help the home

run smoothly.

Main Responsibilities:

Childcare (Majority of the Role):

Engaging the child in age-appropriate developmental activities and play

Providing intimate care (nappy changing, hygiene, etc.)

Preparing and managing feeding routines

Preparing homecooked nutritious baby meals

Putting the child down for naps and keeping to the family's established routine

Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised nursery and play areas

Communicating effectively with the parents and keeping a daily diary of the

child's activities and general wellbeing

Offering a handover at the end of each day

Housekeeping & PA Duties:

Housekeeping related (laundry, tidying)

Preparing healthy family meals suitable for adults as well

Running occasional errands or assisting with home admin if required

Being an extra pair of hands around the home when needed

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Have demonstrable experience caring for young children (particularly toddlers)

Be confident, warm, and engaging, with a genuine love for working with children

Be happy working in a home where both parents work from home

Be punctual, reliable, and flexible with working hours when needed

Be open, communicative, and able to both take and give advice respectfully

Keep calm under pressure and be happy to muck in with different tasks

Be organised and detail-oriented with excellent timekeeping

Requirements:
Current Paediatric First Aid certification
Enhanced DBS check (or willing to obtain)
Right to work in the UK
Strong references from previous nanny/childcare roles

5 years of nanny experience

Desirable: Willingness to travel with the family on occasional trips abroad (e.g. Sweden)
A background or interest in child development or early years education

Start Date: 17th September 2025

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: Up to £20.00 per hour
